1. 1. Blood samples were taken from captive reared and wild Nile crocodiles for evaluation of plasma cholesterol levels. The effect of gender, diet and age was studied. 2. 2. Adult females had significantly higher plasma cholesterol levels than younger ones, having the same dietary fat. 3. 3.
