Femtosecond Laser Electronic Excitation Tagging (FLEET) is employed to resolve instantaneous streamwise flow velocities within ten microns of a surface with transverse curvature in a Mach 1.5 air flow. Two new methods are used to determine the exact wall position. The probability density function of velocities within the boundary layer is depicted and an increase in turbulence near the wall is observed. Key flow parameters include Re 9200, ReD = 3 105 and Re = 1.44 103. The laser properties used to excite the flow are chosen to minimize perturbations and maximize usable signal.
