abstract
Addition of relatively low concentrations (1.7 to 6.8 M) of paclobutrazol to the culture medium decreased in vitro growth of Vigna aconitifolia (Jacqu.) Marechal cv. Jaadia (moth bean) callus. Presence of paclobutrazol increased the content of sugars and total soluble protein in the callus. Addition of paclobutrazol to a regeneration medium reduced the differentiation of roots and shoots in vitro. 1989 The Japanese Society of Plant Physiologists (JSPP).
