Calculation of coefficients of fractional parentage in the T, J scheme

The one-particle jj-coupling coefficients of fractional parentage of both protons and neutrons were calculated using a recursion relation. The n-particle wave functions obtained from the recursion relation are antisymmetric with well-defined values of total isospin T and total spin J. Appropriate sets of these wave functions were orthonormalized to give wave functions with well-defined seniority v, reduced isospin t, T and J. The calculations were carried out for j = 1 2, 3 2 and 5 2 up to the half-filled shell. Coefficients of fractional parentage for j = 7 2 were calculated up to n = 4. All coefficients were calculated exactly and are given as roots of rational numbers. © 1972.
