abstract
Objective: To make the study on retrograde extrapolation of blood alcohol concentration (BAC). Methods: The elimination rate of 327 subjects'BAC was calculated according to the curve of blood alcohol concentration with time. Results: The elimination of BAC conform to the mode of linear elimination. The correlation coefficient obtained was 0. 985 0. 019. The minimium value was 0. 98, and maximium value 1.00. The overall mean value of the blood alcohol elimination rate was (0.136 0.037) mg/mL/h. The minimium value was 0. 075 mg/mL/h, and maximium value 0. 266 mg/mL/h. Conclusion: The retrograde extrapolation of BAC can be calculated according to the correlation coefficient of linear elimination. The elimination rate used for a person in back calculation was 0. 10mg/mL/h.
