abstract

  • 2017 IEEE. Reliability of a recently developed adaptive stator windings to ground fault protection scheme based on thirdharmonic voltages is compared to an existing non-adaptive scheme. Sensitivity and security analyses are performed to conclude that the proposed scheme offers higher sensitivity and security as compared to the non-adaptive alternative. The operation responses of both schemes are verified using a comprehensive lab scale generating station.
