abstract
This paper describes the studies conducted on the models of OWC device and the Wells type air turbine associated with a multipurpose wave energy conversion system. The hydrodynamic model corresponded to 1:100 scale ratio for a site condition of 12 m water depth, 10 sec wave period and 1.52 m significant wave height. The air turbine model tested has a tip diameter of 0.263 meter. This paper also gives the prototype parameters for a 150 kW Sea Experiment scaled up from these model tests. (A)
