The volume is divided into 5 sections. Section 1 provides an overview of the field of enquiry. Section 2 focuses on the theoretical and methodological contributions from psychology. Section 3 focuses on contributions from the decision and system sciences. Section 4 provides cultural and philosophical perspectives and Section 5 includes a number of overview papers written from the perspective of the policy, administrative and legal sciences.
