abstract
The Burnett-isochoric PVT experiment was used to determine the isothermal deviation of enthalpy with pressure at 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, and 210 degree C for three wet, sweet natural gas mixtures: (1) 1. 85 mol% water, (2) 5 mol% water, and (3) 10 mol% water. The dew point loci of the three wet, sweet natural gas mixtures were measured by the change of slope of the isochores at the boundary between the single-phase gas and the two-phase region. The addition of small amounts of water vapor to sweet natural gas provides mixtures that are near perfect (the lowest Z was 0. 968) over the pressure range of zero to 2500 psia.
