abstract

• In this paper, we compare the properties of the two proteins and describe in detail some recent studies performed on pp60(src). In one set of studies, we have determined the location of pp60(src) in cells. To accomplish this, we used a method recently developed in our laboratory to locate antigens at the ultrastructural level. In the other set of studies, we have examined the properties of the kinase activity associated with pp60(src) and have compared it with other well-characterized protein kinases.
