abstract

• The International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) was held in Killarney, Ireland, from July 12?17, 2015. The conference drew top researchers, students, and practitioners from the general area of neural networks and learning systems, as the flagship conference of the International Neural Networks Society (INNS) and jointly sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE-CIS). The conference started off with 19 timely tutorials with a diverse range of topics, broadly covering neuroscience, machine learning and theory, and big data, and applications.
