Auction-Based Dispatch Algorithms in Deregulated Power Systems Conference Paper

abstract

• 2000 IEEE. The classical economic dispatch algorithm relies on the convexity of the cost function, but in a deregulated power market, the market strategy may make the seller's bidden cost function concave, and causes the classical economic dispatch algorithm to be inapplicable. To solve this problem, an efficient algorithm is proposed in this paper.
