- Dr. Talcott is investigating the beneficial effects of bioactive plant compounds in foods relevant to chronic diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. Specifically, absoprtion, metabolism and efficacy related to chronic inflammation are investigated. Foods of interest are mango, cocoa and other fruits and vegetables.
