abstract
Theoretical study to address issues about the electron correlation effects in the N 1s photoionization of nitrogen molecules was presented. Calculations at different levels of theory were performed, which included the use of correlated, uncorrelated and relaxed targets, and single and multichannel expansions. The results showed a shape resonance in the channel leading to the first satellite in the C 1s photoionization of the CO molecule.
