abstract

  • The - stacking interactions between tptz units from adjacent Sm(tptz)(HCOO)(3) coordination nanotubes leads to additional 1D channels (tptz = 2,4,6-tris(2-pyridyl)-s-triazine). The present compound is a rare case of a tubular porous material with both hydrophobic and hydrophilic channels. Permanent porosity was confirmed by N(2) adsorption isotherms.
