COUPLED ELECTRON - PHOTON TRANSPORT CALCULATIONS USING THE METHOD OF DISCRETE ORDINATES. Conference Paper

abstract

• A discrete-ordinates method for coupled electron-photon transport is presented and applied to space-shielding calculations. It is found that the discrete-ordinates method is an accurate as the standard Monte Carlo method but is much more efficient.
