Identification of the OC-IH isomer based on near-infrared diode laser spectroscopy Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • The near-infrared 2+51 combination bands of OC-HI and its isomeric form OC-IH have been recorded using a high-frequency wavelength modulation diode laser supersonic jet spectrometer. In addition, the 2 spectral region has been reinvestigated, leading to the assignment of the 2 fundamental in the isomeric species, OC-IH. The 1 band of OC-HI has also been rovibrationally assigned. The results are used to give qualitative information concerning the nature of molecular dynamics in this complex and its relation to that of other members in the homologous series OC:HX (X=F, Cl, Br, and I).
