Ethnic and minority issues in rehabilitation psychology Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • Ethnic minority issues are routinely addressed across all areas of contemporary psychology; however, rehabilitation psychologists have yet to systematically approach these issues in an informed manner. In this brief commentary, we review major issues in the study of ethnicity and synthesize findings germane to rehabilitation and ethnicity in the extant literature. Several implications for rehabilitation psychology practice and research are offered.
