abstract
A research project to investigate the effects of changes in truck size, weight, and axle configuration on pavement performance, and to relate these effects to pavement maintenance and rehabilitation costs is outlined. This article presents the initial results of a study in progress to analyze the computer programs REHAB and NULOAD and prepare a synthesized program.
