abstract
This paper describes studies conducted on the models of OWC device and the Wells type air turbine associated with a multi-purpose wave energy conversion system. The hydrodynamic model corresponded to 1:100 scale ratio for a site condition of 12 m water depth, 10 sec wave period and 1.52 m significant wave height. The air turbine model tested had a tip diam of 0.263 m. This paper also gives the prototype parameters for a 150 kw sea experiment scaled up from these tests.
