Describes a flume study of two OWC device shapes, rectangular box and streamlined. Presents a plot of hydrodynamic efficiency versus wave length to device length ratio. Outlines how incident and absorbed power are calculated and determines captive factor versus damping. Although the streamlined box performs better, the construction problems do not justify opting for the streamlined design.
