abstract

• The i.r. and Raman spectra of 4-silaspiro(3,3)heptane have been recorded and analyzed. The data show the molecule to have puckered rings consistent with C2 symmetry. Nonetheless, the data can be analyzed for the most part assuming D2d symmetry for the molecule. 2000.
