abstract

• The IR and Raman spectra of the three substituted germacyclopent-3-enes, CH2CHCHCH2GeR2 for R= Cl, CH3 or OCH3, have been recorded and assigned. The spectra have been found to be consistent with C2v symmetry, corresponding to a planar ring structure for each molecule. 1978.
