abstract
A method to measure third-order nonlinear susceptibilities of highly scattered liquids was presented. The proposed method was applied to study the aggregation and polarization of nanoparticles and microspheres in solution. Liquids such as double-ionized water and methanol were used to experimentally confirm formulas for measuring (3)of solution. It was shown that the measured (3)of nanoparticles is in a linear dependence on the nanoparticle concentration upto the concentration of 1015cm-3.
