abstract
The change in mechanical properties of Shape Memory Polymer (SMP) by the addition of nickel zinc ferrite (NiZnFe) particles was investigated.Dynamic mechanical thermal analysis measurements were performed using a rheometer (TA ARES LS2) in torsion rectangle geometry. Light microscopy was used to observe particle dispersion. It was observed that the addition of NiZnFe powder at 10% by vol. concentration caused the Tgof the SMP to drop by egardless of particle size.
