abstract
The preparation and characterization of P(N-isopropylacrylamide-co- methacrylic acid) membranes with templated patterns to facilitate solution transport, sequestration, and collection were investigated. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) templates were formed by curing Sylgard 184 in a photolithographically generated silicon master containing inverted pyramids. Surface characteristics were examined using optical microscopy and atomic free microscopy (AFM). Results show that thermoreversible copolymer membranes of acid were templated and inverted pyramidal structures.
