Analysis of coplanar wave guide multiple-step Conference Paper

abstract

• An analysis of multiple-step discontinuities for a shielded three-layer coplanar waveguide (CPW), based on the mode-matching technique, is presented. There is a food agreement between the calculated scattering (S) parameters of a CPW single-step discontinuity using this analysis and those published previously. Calculated results for double- and Triple-step discontinuities are presented. The convergence behavior of S-parameters for various discontinuities is also investigated.
