Effects of metallization thickness on the characteristics of the coplanar strips Conference Paper

abstract

• Effects of the finite metallization thickness on the characteristics of the coplanar strips (CPS) are investigated for the first time using a full-wave mode-matching technique. Numerical results indicate that the CPS' strip thickness must be included for accurate design of microwave circuits. Calculated results of CPS with zero metallization thickness agree well with those published previously.
