• This book provides an overview of recent work by a group of researchers who have tackled the problem of inter-area oscillations from the perspective of nonlinear and nonstationary systems. The 267-page text is divided into eight chapters, with each providing a unique insight into the modern approach to study inter-area phenomena using techniques that have shown promise in other domains of science (such as geophysics). The book will provide a very valuable reading to anyone who intends to tackle those problems in a serious way.
