abstract
1998 IEEE. This paper deals with the design and implementation of a 6th order 4 Hz low-pass OTA-C filter in a 1.2 m CMOS analog technology. The linearized 1 nA/V OTAs are implemented by using a CMOS transistor biased in triode region and current cancellation techniques. The capacitors are scaled up by a factor proportional to the ratio of transistor dimensions. These techniques allow us to design ICs with very large time constants. The filter's dynamic range is 39 dB while the harmonic distortion components are below to -50 dB.
