A Full CMOS 150 MHz OTA-C 7th Order Linear Phase Filter Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • 2001 IEEE. A full CMOS 150 MHz linear phase low-pass filter intended for hard disk drive read channel systems is discussed. An operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) based on complementary differential pairs is used to achieve high-frequency operation. The filter is based on OTA-C. Simulation results in a 0.35 m CMOS process have shown a group delay ripple of 3% for frequencies up to 180 MHz, while the power consumption is only 37 mW.
