abstract
Several novel second-order programmable switched-capacitor filter structures are presented. These circuits can implement different types of filters including a bilinear programmable filter that uses only two op amps. One of the proposed topologies has the property that it can be made programmable ( omega //o , Q, peak gain) for any of the conventional LP, BP, HP, AP and BE functions without external components. Tradeoffs between the number of op amps, capacitor arrays versus programmability in the center frequency, peak gain, selectivity, and types of filters are described. Theoretical and (breadboard) experimental results show very good agreement.
