USE OF FACTS DEVICES FOR POWER-SYSTEM STABILITY ENHANCEMENT Conference Paper

abstract

• This paper describes research in progress on the development of new techniques for analysis and control of power systems using FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission System) devices during both the voltage and transient stability time frames. These methods are shown to offer the potential for enhancing the system's stability margin.
