abstract
Power transfer distribution factors depend on the operating point and topology of an electric power system. However, in a recent paper, the power transfer distribution factors were shown theoretically to be relatively insensitive to the operating point. In this paper, we provide empirical corroboration of this theoretical result. The observations are consistent with those made in several recent papers; however, the systems considered in this paper are considerably larger than have been reported in other studies. 2005 IEEE.
