2016 IEEE. We present recent progress in the development of a time domain propagator numerical method for electromagnetic fields in the context of a lossless transmission line with more than one substrate material. The issues discussed here include a method for maintaining consistent spatial and computation time increments, an equation for the voltage and current at the intersection of two dielectrics and between a dielectric and a perfect conductor, and an absorbing boundary condition.
