abstract
Three different approaches on pricing are discussed. It seems that no matter what the approaches are, there is a need for transaction based power flow analysis that can decompose all involved quantity, such as line flows, power consumption, control utilization, etc. into transaction components. With this approach, it is then clear how utilization of transmission lines, real power consumption, reactive power consumption, involved voltage supports and other control devices can be accounted for individual transactions.
