abstract
Two bits of optical data storage by a novel technique of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT)-excited spin echoes and nondegenerate four-wave mixing in a spectral hole-burning solid is demonstrated. The potential of high-density and fast optical data memory at high temperature is also presented.
