A HIGH-PERFORMANCE SINGLE-PHASE AC TO DC RECTIFIER WITH INPUT POWER-FACTOR CORRECTION Conference Paper

abstract

• In this paper a high performance single phase AC to DC rectifier with input power factor correction is proposed. The proposed approach has many advantages which include fewer semiconductor components, simplified control, high performance features and satisfies LEC 555 harmonic current standards. Simulation and experimental results obtained on a laboratory prototype are also discussed.
