abstract
IEEE. In this paper a simple real time space vector PWM strategy for high performance converters is presented. The application of the proposed modulator in (a) ac to dc rectifier and (b) dc to ac inverter systems is investigated. In ac to dc rectifier systems the proposed modulator adapts to any voltage unbalance or distortion in the input and suitably generates gating signals to maintain high quality output voltage. In dc to ac inverter system the proposed system maintains low a THD at the output terminals even with substantial voltage ripple in the input dc. Implementation of the proposed system on a Texas Instruments TMS 320 C30 DSP is suggested and selected results are experimentally verified.
