abstract
Selective non-catalytic reduction is one of the more promising schemes for the removal of NOx from combustion exhaust gases. The Rapid Reduction of NOx (RAPRENOX) technique, where cyanuric acid is injected into the exhaust gases is studied numerically using the detailed chemical mechanism developed at Sandia National Laboratory. Calculations compare favorably with experimental data collected at Sandia over a wide range of exhaust gas composition.
