A nonuniform, nonlinear, hydrologic cascade is developed for watershed runoff modeling, and its state-space representation is provided. By applying the cascade model to natural watersheds, an appraisal of its potential in runoff modeling is made. The model parameters are studied regarding their sensitivity.
