abstract
An examination is made of the complexity of three specific real-world water resource problems and discusses the role of computers in their solution. These include (1) surface irrigation problem, (2) surface runoff problem, and (3) integrated modeling in water resources. Further, ramifications of computer technology in development of water resource technology and its dissemination are briefly discussed.
