abstract
The concept of uniform nonlinearity (Dooge 1967) is employed to develop a uniformly nonlinear model for watershed surface runoff prediction. A state-space representation of the model is presented. The model parameters are examined regarding their sensitivity and are estimated, using watershed physiography. By applying the model to natural agricultural watersheds its utility in surface runoff prediction is tested. It is shown that the proposed model and several existing surface runoff models have some important features in common. - Author
