abstract
A linear perturbation model (LPM) was used for generation of monthly runoff. The model in its non-parametric (unconstrained) form was calibrated and verified using the data from five different countries. The response function given by the LPM was found to have a physically realizable shape. The model results were compared with those given by a non-linear model for one catchment. 1993.
