We investigate the (Formula presented.)-error of approximation to a function (Formula presented.) by a linear combination (Formula presented.) of (Formula presented.) exponentials (Formula presented.) on (Formula presented.) where the frequencies (Formula presented.) are allowed to depend on (Formula presented.)
