Kane's equations in higher-dimensional spaces Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • This paper contains a generalization of Kane's equations. The final result can be used to produce the set of ordinary differential equations that govern the complete motion of rigid body systems in higher-dimensional spaces. The development is for holonomic systems where the number of minimal coordinates equals the number of generalized velocities, which equals the number of new generalized speeds.
