abstract
We present the results of an experimental study of the radiative decay of the lowest excited singlet state of the isolated benzophenone molecule, which exhibits predominantly the characteristics of strong interstate singlet-triplet coupling. A contribution of weakly coupled levels in the triplet manifold results in a non-exponential decay pattern. 1971.
