abstract
Autoionization is a possible mechanism for the picosecond kinetics of tetracene dianion di-potassium salt (TeT2-, 2K+) in DME and MeTHF. We have observed an intermediate absorption by what we believe to be an important extension of the experimental methods of picosecond spectroscopy. This double beam method provides an improvement over an order of magnitude increase in sensitivity and reliability over our previous electronically displayed techniques. 1974.
