Gevrey regularity for nonlinear analytic parabolic equations

abstract

• It is shown that the solutions of a certain class of nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations in periodic cubes of Rn with analytic nonlinearity are in a certain Gevrey class for small t > 0, provided they are initially in the appropriate Sobolev space. Similar results hold in all of Rn as well.
