THE USE OF INTEGRAL-OPERATORS IN UNDETERMINED COEFFICIENT PROBLEMS FOR PARTIAL-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS Academic Article uri icon

abstract

  • This paper deals with the unique determination of a coefficient in a partial differential equation from overspecified boundary data. An integral operator, defined in the solution space of our equation, is developed and this is used to generate a relationship between any two candidate coefficients. 1984, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
